What’s in the daily dose?

BODYGUARD Appetite Control is a food supplement in plant-based hard capsules. The daily dose is 2 capsules:

Full ingredients: bitter orange peel extract, apple cider vinegar powder, silymarin, green tea leaf extract, piperine, chromium picolinate, maltodextrin. Capsule shell: cellulose (plant-based).

What does chromium do?

Chromium is a mineral. Under Regulation (EU) No 432/2012, it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism — carbohydrates, fats and proteins — and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Here it is provided as chromium picolinate, one of the forms permitted in the EU.

And the other ingredients?

• Bitter orange (Citrus aurantium) is a citrus fruit whose peel is used in cooking and in aromatic oils.
• Apple cider vinegar is a kitchen staple; here it is dried into a powder.
• Silymarin is extracted from milk thistle seeds.
• Piperine is the compound that gives black pepper its pungency.

There are no authorised health claims for these ingredients in the EU, so we describe them only as ingredients. The effect we state comes from chromium.

How to take it

• Dose: 2 capsules a day, in the morning, with food. Do not take on an empty stomach.
• Duration: 3 months. One pack lasts 30 days, so a full course takes 3 packs.
• Storage: in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, out of reach of children.

Who should not take it?

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
• Anyone under 18.
• Do not consume on the same day as other products containing green tea.
• If you have a cardiovascular condition or high blood pressure, consult your doctor before use (because of the bitter orange).
• Do not combine with energy drinks or other products containing caffeine or synephrine.
• If you take any medication, including for diabetes, consult your doctor before use.
